Forgotten Past - Part 1 - Chapter 8
 Kagekao was still confined to staying inside the house. It was a good thing, even if Kage didn’t see it that way, because his wounds hadn’t fully healed yet; however, because he couldn’t go outside, he was constantly bored throughout the day.

When night finally arrived, Kage climbed into bed to go to sleep. After a few long minutes, he felt himself drifting off; but someone opened the door to his room and rushed inside. It was Yuki; she shut the door silently and then looked at Kage.

“お母さん? 何で-？” (Mom? What is-?) Kage started, but Yuki quickly motioned for him

 Kage sighed. He climbed further up the roof so that he could no longer hear his parents; he didn’t like to hear them so sad.

Kage climbed to the highest part of the roof and sat down; he felt like he needed some alone time to think. He felt afraid; he didn’t know what his parents were planning, but it didn’t sound very easy.

He closed his eyes and listened to the sounds of the night. The wind blowing through the grass and the trees, crickets here and there, things of that sort. They were calming and peaceful, something nice.

 Kagekao opened his eyes, squinting at the bright light of sunset coming through the window. He coughed and lifted his hand to his chest, feeling the bandages wrapped around him that were caked with dry blood.

He tried to sit up, but a sharp jolt of pain came from his back; he groaned.

“Kage, don’t sit up; you have some deep gashes on your back.” A voice from beside him informed.

Kage lied back down and turned his head; Yuki was standing beside his bed.

“Mom, I-” Kage started to speak.

“Kagekao! What were you thinking?!” Yuki interrupted him.

 Kage closed his eyes tightly, hoping that it was all a dream; some horrible nightmare that had struck in the night. He hoped that he would wake up soon, and everything would be normal.

He opened his eyes; everything was still in its ruined state. He closed his eyes and opened them again; still the same. Kage stood up, but moving had made the open wound on his chest hurt again. He sat back down and sighed. This wasn’t a dream; it hurt too much to be a dream.

 Kage blinked his eyes open slowly. He felt light headed, and very weak. Looking around in a daze, he saw that he was in his own room, in his bed. He was wrapped in fresh bandages as well.

 He heard voices, and feebly turned his head to look in the direction from which they were coming from. His parents were standing a little ways away, but facing the other direction so they did not notice that he had regained consciousness. They were discussing the situation in worried voices.

“I knew this would happen!” Kurai hissed, “If we hadn’t heard him then Kage would be dead right now!”

 Kurai put his hand to Kage’s neck, trying to feel for a pulse; but there was nothing. He felt his wrist, still nothing. Kagekao was gone.

Kurai laid the body on the ground gently, and then stood up. He looked up at Scollex, his one remaining eye blazed with hatred. Scollex was silent, but then started to laugh; he laughing at his pain.

Rapidly unsheathing his claws, Kurai ran towards Scollex.

“お前殺す!!” (I’ll kill you!!) He snarled ferociously, but Scollex merely stood there; watching as the enraged demon ran towards him.

 Kagekao sat on the roof of the house. Time had passed, and he was all healed and doing well again. There were still a few minor aches and pains, but they would go away in time.

It was the late afternoon, so the sky was filled with color as the sun prepared to drop below the horizon. The clouds appeared pink and orange, the sky was streaked with red and yellow, and the sun was a large orange sphere; it was the type of scene and color scheme that made one feel warm and content.

Kage gazed out at the sky, unaware of what was about to happen next. To him, it was just another normal day. Sun rose, sun set, everyone is alright.

Even as a young child, I’d always been attracted towards the strange, the creepy and the paranormal, which explains why I stayed up late reading Creepypasta stories. One that caught my eye the most was the one about a “Jeff the Killer”; I found myself trawling through numerous pages to find out more about him. The fact that he kills who he wants to is strangely admirable. I can’t find anything else about Jeff for now, plus I’m bored out of my mind, it’s late and I’m feeling a little queasy, so I might as well go to bed.

       I came back to the forest as soon as I left Silent Hill. Finally, I have found a place I will call as my Home. I don’t care now about the townsfolk or anyone who is looking for me. This May Not Be Your Wonderland... *PROLOGUE*

    Ally had dreamt of "Wonderland" for as long as she could remember. Maybe it was to escape the verbal abuse from her elder sister. To escape the nightmares of her deceased parents, slaughtered and left to rot in the heart of the dark forest. To escape the voice inside her head.
    "Kill, kill, kill…" the Voice whispered on that day. It made her kill her parents. It made her terrorize her household with bursts of psychotic laughter in the dead of night. It made her wonder how she was still alive as it forced her to torture herself into insanity. All she had was the Voice. And of course, while calmly humming to herself, she spied an incredibly bony white rabbit with glowing red eyes and a tattered tail coat. It beckoned her with it's tarnished gold pocket watch, sharp fangs, and dangerous talons.
    "Follow it, dear girl, and it shall lead you to your Wonderland…" the Voice purred. Dropping the delicate flowers she had been collecting, she stood up slowly and followed the white rabbit into the dark forest. Insanity taking over, she grinned evilly and fell captive to the Voice's venomous words of assurance. Maybe finally, the thoughts of her Wonderland becoming a reality would come true.
    That poor, foolish girl.

I'm officially writing a new story. It's Alice In Wonderland with a dark twist. I might draw a picture of it. And sorry if the prologue is too short, I really tried to make it sound good ; 3 ;
